New Hope, PA – November 6, 2024 – Construction Executive magazine recently announced that TENNA, the construction technology platform powering equipment fleet operations, has been selected as one of the 2024 Top Construction Technology Firms™, featured within the Fleet Management category. This is Tenna’s fourth year being recognized by Construction Executive on this list.
Now in its 22nd year of publication, Construction Executive is the leading trade magazine about the business of construction. Published in its Sept./Oct. 2024 issue, CE’s Top Construction Technology Firms list was developed by asking hundreds of firms that provide technology and software solutions for the construction industry to complete a nomination form. The information collected included: 1) the firm’s product offerings specific to the AEC industry; 2) the user profile (type and size of firm for which each product is recommended); 3) how each product is sold (by seat, user, license and/or project, etc.); and 4) the number of active users within the past 12 months (by individual users and/or companies).
There was no fee to participate and not every firm that completed the nomination form made this curated list. After carefully scrutinizing the data collected, the 2024 list of CE’s Top Construction Technology Firms was developed.
“We are grateful to continue to be recognized by Construction Executive magazine as one of The Top Construction Technology Firms. This inclusion demonstrates Tenna’s continued focus on helping construction companies connect business processes, improve productivity and safety, and increase profitability through construction technology,” says Austin Conti, Co-founder and CEO of Tenna. “Congratulations to this year’s top tech firms. We’re honored to be named alongside you.”
Tenna continues to innovate and go beyond tracking to solve the unique needs of construction businesses.
“We are continuing to innovate and leverage tech to solve the many challenges faced by contractors with mixed fleets,” says Jose Cueva, Co-Founder and VP of Product at Tenna. “This is evident in our recent accolades and our latest software and hardware releases, which help connect every aspect of fleet management to give contractors a comprehensive view of their equipment operations and greater opportunities to better their business.”
Tenna’s latest iteration of equipment trackers, TennaINTEL, is just one recent hardware product from Tenna that does just this by offering a novel way to track and manage heavy to mid-sized equipment in addition to ancillary assets affixed with Bluetooth Low Energy beacons. This technology creates a “network effect” of assets across areas of operation, so contractors can see more data than just the one asset their tracker is affixed to.
Across its platform, Tenna strives to connect traditionally disparate data from different areas of equipment operations to fuel better decision making. One such example of this is its innovative dispatch solution, which enables contractors to leverage telematics-based insights when scheduling for more educated decisions around equipment planning and fulfillment.
In addition to being one of The Top Construction Technology Firms by CE, Tenna ranked number 162 on the 2024 Inc. 5000 annual list of fastest-growing private companies in America and number 18 in the software category, while its most advanced tracker, TennaCANbus, was recognized by Asphalt Contractor magazine as a Top 30 Editor’s Choice award winner.
